Mike Killeen

Mike has over 20 years experience as an Architect. Since becoming accredited in 1989, Mike worked for firms in St. Louis and Chicago, before he and his wife Annie Killeen started Killeen Studio Architects since 2000. As principle and managing partner of Killeen Studio, Mike has been lead architect on hundreds of projects, ranging from complex, large-scale developments to local municipal improvements.
Mike is an active member of the St. Louis community, serving as Vice President of the Benton Park Neighborhood Association, Chairman of the Benton Park Summer Concert Series, Board Member of the City of St. Louis Preservation Board, Member of Missouri Historic Preservation Alliance, and Chairman of the 2010 Missouri State Historic Preservation Conference. He has been honored by St. Louis at Home Magazine, receiving the 2008 Residential Design Award, and he was awarded the first LEED Gold Certification for a 2008 Commercial Building in St. Louis City. Education: Mike graduated from the University of Kansas with a BA in Architecture in 1989. He received a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Illinois in 1994.
Anne Killeen
Anne Killeen graduated from Washington University's School of Fine Arts in 1997. In 2000, Anne founded Killeen Studio Architects with her husband, Mike Killeen. In 2005 they moved their operation into an 1880's factory building which they purchased and renovated. Annie is a talent artist whose paintings are displayed in numerous galleries, restaurants and business in St. Louis. She lives with her husband and two daughters in the historic Benton Park neighborhood, where she is an active member of the Benton Park Neighborhood Association.
