The owners wanted a new, interesting front porch to serve as a front door and outdoor family room. A retired couple, he is excited about sitting on his new porch and waiving to his younger still working neighbors every morning as they head off to the salt mines while he reads the paper with his fresh hot coffee.
We designed a large screened porch addition to this 1960s home. The added space was appreciated by this growing family of eight.

The original front porch was failing and needed replacement. The new porch was designed to blend with the architecture of this 1910’s home. We worked closely with the owners and the contractor to arrive at a workable and desirable solution.
